How often do we get annoyed by the silliest and slightest of things we come across in our everyday life? While I pondered over this silly question for reasons I know not, I came up with quite an exhaustive (read *proud* 
) list of things that we normally get annoyed at or things that totally piss us off! Some of the things listed are universal, some pertaining to women and most of it to all those two-legged mammals we call human beings!
Here you go:
The unbeatables
- Shoe bite – Oh man, this one’s totally annoying. You can neither walk not wiggle now crawl nor… nothing. Answer – try walking barefoot!
- Traffic – Living in a suburb like Chennai, am sure most of you all can relate to this. Well, there’s an exhaustive list of subcategories within this which best I would leave untouched!
- Spitting from the vehicle – And there comes out the chewed up red residue of the pan from inside the auto rickshaw or a two wheeler moron. If you get lucky you might just get past that one by performing some stunts on the road!
- Periods – Yeah, mostly referred to as ‘those days of the month’. Damn it! Needless to say this pertains to those unfortunate beings on the earth for whom this unsolicited monthly visitor is mandatory!
- Roadside Romeos – Once again for the ladies of this wonderful world, these wayward wanderers are aplenty to leave you pissed off for the whole day!
- Cleaning your hair brush (not the comb) – The culprit and reason for the birth of this post, this task is one bloody annoying thing, especially if you have wiggly wiggly wormy hair.
- Leaking toilet cisterns – Ah! The universal one! Drip drip drip and there goes our patience strip!
- Toilet flush not working – Freezing work cabins, rainy season, more visits to the loo and the less you wanna go! I don’t wanna divulge into the aroma it spreads!!
- Spam in your mailbox
– Win lotteries, get bumper prizes, Viagra tablets for free – yeah right!!!!
- Mosquitoes – The undying spirit of the buzzing mosquito. These crazy teeny-weeny creatures HAVE TO buzz along by our ears, especially when we’re trying to get some sleep. E(a)erie!!
- Runny nose – You cant eat anything spicy, cant touch the ice cream, cant sneeze freely, cant have your head down for long – your nose opens the tap!
- Blaring loudspeakers – This one’s phenomenal! If you’re residing anywhere close to a temple, your days become holy! Suffered it for 17 odd years!!! A proper dosage of everyday headache.
- Wet clothes (includes wet undies) – Ewww… personally, I hate getting wet in the rain and if you gotta sit at work after getting drenched, nothing could be worse than this. All soaking wet, itchy… I’d run away!
- Freezing work area – I just cannot take this one. My fingers become frozen sticks, my feet go numb and I try to tuck my hands under my arms, fold up my feet and what not! Crazy air conditioning system!!
- Knotted ropes, pant/salwar drawstrings, wires – Just when you want to step out, you dress up and do a recheck (well, I do!) that’s when your drawstrings get knotted, the wires go haywire so on and so forth…
- Pen not writing while taking down details – Proper annoyance! I’d rate it first. The moment you want to take down some details when you’re over the phone, first up you’d have to hunt down a pen and then it wouldn’t write. So darn irritating!
- Crowded train/bus with people stinking of sweat – ‘Creepy’ is the word for it. You probably have to take a dip in Ganga to cleanse yourself!
- Unwanted guests (relatives especially) - When you just sit down to relax after a hard day’s work, semi fried brain, irritating boss, annoying traffic – you get back home to relax and right then you have those grinning guests. I just feel like hanging!!
- Net getting disconnected when you want to do some serious stuff – This one’s so typical. The moment you realize you have some urgent work to finish, you’re net acts cocky but when you’re worthlessly browsing about, it’s all smiles!
- Dandruff – an all time itchy partner.
- Keys not working – Door keys, cupboard keys, bike keys - these crooked keys at times make you feel like just flinging it on someone.
- Unsolicited calls from service providers/banks - I wish there were no customer care centres, there’s too much of relationship management going on. They shove up bank credit cards to you whether you like it or not, or make us listen like mute asses to pre-recorded messages. So annoying!
- Loud women in public places – Ok, men can have some hearty laugh at this but this one’s got to be accepted. They’re all over - at the malls, in the stations, on the roads, at coffee pubs, wherever. Feel like yelling “Shhhhuuuut uuupp!!”
- Flickering lights – You might as well dig a burrow and stay there in the dark all your life!
- Loud horns – Some people gain such sadistic pleasure in blaring their vehicle horns, even if you’re waiting at the signal already frustrated!
- Too many forwards – Early morning wake up fwd messages, late night senseless fwds, all day long crappy messages, send this fwd to as many and your wish will come true in 24 hrs. ?????????? I mean ???????????????????????????????
- Cold feet – Ok, this could be a bit personal but I hate my feet getting wet or feeling cold all the time. Blame it on the AC again! Grrr…
- Lighter not working – There’s a story behind this point. My friend suggested I put this one up and I was like yeah, every time you go pressing that damned lighter to light your cigarette it just wouldn’t budge and she kept staring at me for a while! I was caught – she was talking about the kitchen lighter. No no… am honest, you see another friend validated my assumption!
- When you find a strand of hair in your plate – My father would probably throw the plate. I wouldn’t, but I just hate to see that hair wiggling out of your plate or soup bowl.
- Water droplets on specs lens – I wonder why they never came up with a wiper for spectacles!!!
- Stain on your fav outfit - Stupid stains! They take such a long time to go, your dress is already screwed!
- Useless remotes – You try to tap the remote, shake it bang it (no dirty thinking ) and try doing everything but the remote just wouldn’t work.
- Friends pissing you off with their constant clamor – You know, sometimes your friends can get so annoying with their constant clamor, blah blah blah…. Shut up again people!!
Phew! There are lots and lots more to add on but I guess I’d stop at this! There are just too many to list. Anyways… off I go to get back to my work before you all rate me to be the ‘the most annoying thing’ around!! ;)

Hahahaha.....So these are a few of your annoying things.....I think you can give some music and make a song out of it....What a psychedelic assortment of things they are. Guess what, two of these I've already blogs on.......One is where I felt the 'ground beneath my feet with what else but the shoe bite and the was when I had a 'Paanic Attack'....again with what else but that squirting red liquid from the mouth.....Enjoyed the blog!
